- Main gearbox rebuilt by John Walklett with new syncros, bearings, SA oil plates, Weddle bearing retainer modification to ensure the gearbox is not damaged in the future. No miles since rebuild other than to and from MOT.

- New windscreen and gasket

- Heater rebuilt with new motor and Brickwerks foam kit.

- The trailing arms have been powder-coated, as have the front and rear skid plates and the propeller bars, which are not currently fitted. 

- New bushes fitted to the arms.

- New fuel tank sensor

- The linkage was replaced from front to rear (rubber bushes and covers) and the rear linkage rod was replaced. 

- All flexible and rigid brake lines replaced, calipers rebuilt, backing plates replaced front and rear, VW drums and bearings replaced rear. All fuel lines and breathers have been replaced with the highest quality parts available. 

- New injectors and exhaust box. 

- Sideboards replaced with good used ones. 

- The driver's door has been replaced due to the breakage of the hinge reinforcement strip on the original door. 

- The engine runs smoothly with no leaks and has passed a recent UK MOT, but the French will go with it too).

- Roll bar with load protector to protect the rear window

- The work to be done is to finish the paintwork (inside sideboards and 4th door - paint supplied), undercoat or paint underneath (owner didn't want to do this so buyers can see what's underneath), localised repair to the boot doors (new doors are available or there are some spares to help with this), fit door seals all round have been removed for painting.

- Choice of wheels: either standard 14-inch Syncro steel wheels with near-new AT tyres, or South African Pepperpot alloy wheels with M & S tyres.
